Unused: Time Travel

(This was originally posted on or around 2013-08-08. I seem to have fully deleted the screenshots I originally used, so here I've used unedited versions of the original failed attempts. I wrote a few different versions of varying lengths, because I was worried people would be disinclined to read a longer story, but even so, it didn't get a great reception, and so I decided to have it deleted from PMC.)

Long Version (which I think is the best):

I was playing Minecraft one day, when I came upon a clearing, and in it was standing....Dr. Chibawk!!!
I had some string with me, so I quickly crafted a fishing rod, and threw it out to grab onto Dr. Chibawk--just as he teleported. I was dragged along, and appeared in what seemed to be Dr. Chibawk’s secret base.
I backed away, hoping he wouldn’t notice me. As I checked to see what my coordinates were, he walked over to some kind of machine and started working on it.
After a while, he backed away and said, “YES!!! I have completed my time machine! Now I can go back in time and take over the world at a time when there’s no Herobrine to stop me!!!”
He stepped into the time machine, and I ran forward to try to stop him. When I was right next to the time machine, my vision went all wobbly (like when you go through a Nether portal), and when it stopped, we were in a cave. I quickly hid and then pressed F3. The coordinates were the same as before. We were in the past.
Dr. Chibawk appeared to be taking apart the time machine, so that nobody would use it, I guessed. Then he walked toward another part of the cave, and I followed him.
After a while, we came out of the cave. I kept following him, but then he went behind a tree, and when I came around it, he was gone.

I built a house, and basically acted like this was a new world I had created. There was one strange thing I noticed: There weren’t any zombie pigmen in the nether. There also weren’t any endermen, but since they’re rare, I didn’t really notice.
Then, one night, there was a lightning storm. I was outside when it started, and I saw a chicken get struck by lightning. It didn’t die, but stood there for a moment, and started looking around. Then it walked a little, and looked down at some grass. Particles appeared on the grass, like when something’s being destroyed, and then disappeared. It looked like the chicken had hit the grass.
I knew of only one chicken who could do that: Dr. Chibawk. But this couldn’t be him! This chicken didn’t have purple eyes, or enderman particles. I decided to watch the chicken.
It hit the grass again, and this time cracks appeared and the grass was destroyed. The chicken destroyed some tall grass, then went over to a tree and cut it down. It stood still for a second, and then placed a crafting table. This was weird. The chicken was acting like a player in a new world.
The chicken made a pick, and mined out a house. It kept acting like a player, and one day it made some armor. Chicken armor.
I was following the chicken during a lightning storm one night, and some lightning struck a couple of pigs. They turned into zombie pigmen.
The chicken walked up to them. the pigmen and chicken stared at each other. Then the chicken hit one. Both pigmen started attacking the chicken, which ran away and probably only survived because of its armor. I ran away after it.
The next few days, the chicken seemed to be working on something. When it was finished, it flipped a lever, and lightning started striking....even though it wasn’t raining.
The chicken had created a lightning machine. This was a smart chicken.
The chicken went out one day, and came back with a bunch of pigs. It put them and the lightning machine in a room without a ceiling, and then flipped the lever. Lightning struck, and transformed the pigs into zombie pigmen.
The chicken got more pigs, and started breeding them. When it had a lot of them, it turned most of them into zombie pigmen too.
The chicken kept the pigmen in a room lit by torches. I looked at them once, and they were clustering around the torches but shielding their eyes, as if they liked the heat but not the light. I was a little worried that if they didn’t like their home, they might try to escape, and then there would be zombie pigmen everywhere.
Apparently the chicken thought of the same thing, because it made a nether portal and pushed the pigmen through. The nether would be perfect for them; it’s dim, but full of lava and fire.
The chicken made more and more zombie pigmen, and I started to wonder what it was doing. Was it just interested in them? Or was it trying to create a huge army?
The nether filled up with zombie pigmen, and then I realized something: this was the past. Maybe the reason I hadn’t found any zombie pigmen before was because it was the chicken’s fault that they were ever in the nether!
Since there were zombie pigmen now, I decided to kill some to get XP. I must have killed a lot, though, because there stopped being so many. This seemed to annoy the chicken.
Then, one day, the chicken went into its mine carrying a diamond pick. It usually used an iron pick, so I thought that it must be mining obsidian. I wondered why the chicken wanted obsidian, so I followed it.
The chicken went in, mined some obsidian, and started to go out. But when it was passing a ravine, the obsidian it was carrying slipped and tumbled into the ravine, where it smashed. The chicken stood still for a moment, then disappeared.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw a flash of white in the ravine. I looked down into it, and there was a chicken standing in the middle of the shattered obsidian. Could the obsidian smashing have made the chicken, who had dropped it, teleport? Maybe obsidian was like enderpearls.
I tried it out as soon as I could. And it worked--when I smashed the obsidian, it was like I was going through a nether portal, but I appeared among the shards of obsidian.
The chicken started making something with obsidian. I watched it. After about a day, the chicken held up an enderpearl. Then I realized it must be a ball of obsidian. But it looked exactly like an enderpearl. Could enderpearls actually be balls of obsidian?
The chicken threw the enderpearl/obsidian ball, and was immediately teleported. It really did seem like an enderpearl.

The chicken started making something that looked sort of like a an enderman. Then once, when I was watching, the figure’s eye’s lit up, and it stood up. It seemed strange, but I was pretty sure the chicken had created an enderman.
And the chicken kept making them. When it had around ten of them (which seemed to stay close to it for some reason), he made a new machine. When it turned the machine on, the chicken suddenly dropped to the ground.
The machine started working on the chicken. What was it trying to do to itself?
Then, the machine drew back. The chicken opened its eyes. But they weren’t normal chicken eyes....they were enderman eyes! And purple particles started swirling around it! It looked exactly like Dr. Chibawk.
And then I realized something: the chicken must be Dr. Chibawk....from the past!!!!!

And I thought, If I can kill Dr. Chibawk now, in the past, maybe I can undo all of the bad stuff that he did....

Shorter Version (not as good, IMO):

I found Dr. Chibawk in a clearing, and grabbed onto him with a fishing rod just as he teleported to his secret base, where he started working on a time machine. When it was finished, he got inside, and I ran over to try to stop him, but got taken back in time with him. I tried to follow him, but lost track of him. I made a house and basically acted like that was a new world I had created. I noticed that there weren’t any endermen or zombie pigmen. One day I saw a chicken get struck by lightning. The chicken started acting like a player. One day it encountered some pigs that had been struck by lightning. It made a machine to make a whole bunch of zombie pigmen, which, after a while, it put in the Nether. But when they started getting killed, the chicken got annoyed. When it was carrying obsidian from its mine, it dropped the obsidian into a ravine. The obsidian shattered, and teleported the chicken down into the ravine. The chicken made enerpearls out of obsidian, and endermen with the enderpearls. Then it put an enderpearl in itself, and got purple eyes and particles. I realized that this must be Dr. Chibawk from the past, and thought that if I could kill him I might be able to undo all the stuff that he had done.

Shortest Version (IMO, the worst)

I accidentally traveled back in time with Dr. Chibawk, but lost track of him. Then I found a chicken which was struck by lightning. It acted like a player and turned out to be the reason there are zombie pigmen in the Nether. It was also responsible for endermen existing. Then it made itself like an enderman, with purple eyes and particles. I realized this must be Dr. Chibawk from the past and decided to kill him.
